Please read this Policy to understand how and why cookies are used, the types of data they collect, and the rights you have regarding their use.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device to help websites and apps function properly. In our mobile apps, we also use equivalent technologies, including:

  • SDKs (Software Development Kits)
  • App Identifiers (IDFA for iOS, GAID for Android)
  • Secure Storage APIs (e.g., AsyncStorage, SecureStorage, Keychain)
  • Local/session storage
  • Invisible tracking pixels for analytics and fraud prevention

These tools support:

  • User authentication and session continuity
  • Security and fraud protection
  • Performance tracking
  • In-app payments
  • Personalization features

Some data is collected automatically, due to how mobile environments operate. This includes device information, session IDs, and technical logs.

2. Types of Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following categories of cookies and related technologies. This list is non-exhaustive.

a. Strictly Necessary

Enable core functionality, including:

  • Session management
  • Platform security
  • Account protection
  • Technical compliance

These are required by law (e.g., Art. 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Law) and do not require user consent.

b. Performance & Analytics

Help us:

  • Track usage statistics (e.g., Firebase Analytics)
  • Monitor app health (e.g., Crashlytics)
  • Analyze feature effectiveness

These tools collect aggregated, pseudonymized data. You can disable these by uninstalling the app or adjusting permissions at OS level.

c. Functional Cookies

Support usability, including:

  • Language and region settings
  • Saved preferences
  • Biometric authentication support

Disabling these may reduce app efficiency or limit available features.

d. Marketing and Retargeting

Used only with your consent, these tools help:

  • Deliver personalized ads
  • Retarget previous visitors
  • Measure campaign effectiveness

You may opt out using your device settings (e.g., IDFA reset, GAID opt-out, or ATT prompt on iOS).

e. Payment-Related Cookies

Provided by our partners such as Stripe, these cookies and SDKs are used to:

  • Process transactions
  • Verify identity (KYC/AML compliance)
  • Meet financial regulations

Stripe is a separate data controller. View their policy here: Stripe Cookie Policy.

3. Legal Basis

We rely on the following legal grounds for data processing:

  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest (strictly necessary cookies)
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — user consent (non-essential cookies)
  • Polish Telecommunications Law, Art. 173 — for browser-based storage
  • Ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną — electronic services
  • DSA Art. 26 — ad transparency
  • DMA Art. 5(2) — use limitations on core platform data

In some cases, we process minimal technical data even in the absence of user consent, where essential for service delivery.

4. DSA & DMA Specific Requirements

Under the Digital Services Act (DSA), Stadami:

  • Clearly marks ads and indicates sponsors (Art. 26)
  • Offers mechanisms to report illegal content (Art. 14)
  • Publishes transparency reports about moderation (Art. 27)

Under the Digital Markets Act (DMA) (where applicable):

  • We avoid combining personal data across services without valid user consent (Art. 5)
  • We allow users to uninstall apps freely (Art. 6)
  • We ensure fairness in recommendation systems

Currently, Stadami is not classified as a gatekeeper, but we proactively adopt relevant standards.

5. How to Control Cookies

In-app cookie management is not available. To manage tracking and data collection, you may:

  • Uninstall the app
  • Reset advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID)
  • Adjust OS-level privacy settings (e.g., iOS “Ask App Not to Track”)

Disabling or limiting cookies may impact your user experience and app functionality.

6. User Rights and Remedies

You may exercise the following rights under GDPR and Polish law:

  • Access your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Request rectification or erasure (Art. 16–17 GDPR)
  • Restrict or object to processing (Art. 18, 21 GDPR)

By continuing to use our services after such notification, you accept the updated terms, in accordance with Art. 384 of the Polish Civil Code.

Some platform features—such as tailored recommendations, dashboard functionality, and adaptive content—depend on cookies. Limiting access may impair their operation.

This Policy does not create additional warranties or obligations beyond what is legally required.

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by competent Polish courts, without prejudice to rights granted under EU consumer protection law.
